About the Role
A state government agency is seeking an experienced Advisor (Document Control) to join the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project team. This major infrastructure initiative is designed to ease congestion, enhance reliability, and increase capacity ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As part of the Project Controls Office, the Advisor (Document Control) will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and traceability of project documentation. The role will support consistent application of document control systems across the lifecycle of the project, with a strong focus on compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate updates and compliance with the Project Document Control Management Plans
- Support users in applying document control procedures, ensuring timely processing of documentation
- Provide quality assurance on submissions, including audits and compliance checks
- Train staff in document control practices and use of InEight (TeamBinder)
- Maintain and develop workflows in document management systems
- Oversee the administration and transfer of data between platforms such as TeamBinder, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Content Manager
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and document numbering requests aligned with state records policies
- Support archiving in compliance with record-keeping regulations
- Contribute to configuration and continuous improvement of InEight
- Work collaboratively within the project team to support successful delivery
Key Skills & Attributes
- Minimum 5-10 years of document control experience in a major project environment
- Proven experience using InEight Document (TeamBinder)
- Strong understanding of document and data management systems and workflows
- Ability to manage high volumes of information in a fast-paced setting
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Effective communication and training skills for engaging cross-functional teams
- A collaborative approach with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement
Mandatory Requirements
- Demonstrated experience using InEight Document (TeamBinder)
- Full Australian working rights required
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
